DIRECT ANSWER

Who buys used circuit breakers?

Circuit Breaker Buyer is a direct buyer of qualifying used, new-surplus, and obsolete circuit breakers. We review single units, matching boxes and mixed pallets from sellers nationwide. Start with photos and what you know about the lot; exact model and condition determine whether we can make an offer.

What should your breaker photos show?

The photographs here were supplied by the owner. These are identification examples—not completed purchases or price quotations.

Owner-supplied Square D PowerPact PL 1000 circuit breaker with Micrologic 6.0 P trip unit and visible manufacturer label
PowerPact PL 1000 • Owner-supplied photo · Tap photo for full size

One breaker, two sets of markings

What this photo shows
The right-hand label says PowerPacT PL 1000. The separate trip unit on the left says Micrologic 6.0 P. A photo of only the handle would miss both identifiers.
What to send from your lot
For your own safely removed breaker, photograph the whole front, then the complete manufacturer label and trip-unit markings. Leave an unreadable part number blank rather than guessing it.
What a photo cannot confirm
PL 1000 alone does not establish the complete configuration, working condition or value.

A breaker lot or the complete assembly?

What this photo shows
This owner photo shows several Eaton FDC-labeled breakers in one enclosure. The overall view helps explain how the devices are grouped, but does not tell us what the seller intends to include.
What to send from your lot
Tell us whether you are offering the complete assembly or already-loose breakers. Add a close-up of an accessible breaker label, your estimated count and city/state; do not remove anything to take a photo.
What a photo cannot confirm
The photo does not establish whether the equipment is energized, tested or complete.

How to sell

Three steps. No runaround.

Do not ship or remove installed equipment until the lot is reviewed and the next step is confirmed in writing.

1

Show what you have

Send a clear label photo, the overall lot, an estimated count and your city/state. Unknown details are okay.

2

We review your breakers

We identify the lot, ask any necessary questions, and determine whether it fits our buying scope.

3

Agree before anything moves

If there is a fit, confirm the price, included equipment, payment conditions and shipping or pickup responsibilities in writing.
